With all that has been done with BIM, opening an entire industry to new technology and new opportunities, there are now terms being used that have never been used before. Some of these terms are developed inside a company and then spread to clients. Others are developed by media or other parties. However, there remains widespread confusion about what these terms mean. I would be interested to learn more about what parties are doing to try and reach consensus on the definition of these terms, whether in day-to-day coversations or when they are used within contracts.
